City University of London is one of the federal Universities located in London, United Kingdom. City University of London is a research university, founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute, and became a university when The City University was created by royal charter in 1966.
The Inns of Court School of Law, which merged with City in 2001, was established in 1852, making it the University’s oldest constituent part. City University of London joined the federal University of London on 1st September 2016, which made it part of the eighteen colleges and ten research institutes that made up the university.

The University library, houses more than 350,000 books, 25,000 journals and specialist collections.
City University Sport – It accomodates the largest student sports facility in central London, with all of the modern, advance equipment you would expect from a new sports and fitness centre.
Drysdale Building – Home to the Careers Service, your one-stop-shop to discuss career options and access support to enhance your employability.
Engineering laboratory – Available to INTO students on an Engineering pathway. Includes flight deck, motion simulators, wind tunnels, micro turbine, optical compressors and more.
City University Learning Resource Centre – The Learning Resource Centre is positioned on the first floor of the INTO City University of London Centre. This study space is where you’ll find resources to aid your studies such as textbooks, DVDs, journals, CDs, newspapers, and printing and scanning facilities.
Also, the university library is a 25-30minutes walk from the Centre, with a Barbican Library and a City Business Library, which offer public access.

How to Apply for Admission in City University of London
All undergraduate admission applications, Irrespective of your country, must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).

You can apply to study at City through the UCAS Extra service.
To start a course with City University of Londonin September 2021, you can apply using Extra between 25th February and 4th July 2021.

City University of London Entry requirements
- All entry requirements for City University of London undergraduate courses can be found on the individual course pages.
- City University of London courses have a minimum requirement of passes in two subjects at A-level or equivalent, as well as specific course requirements. We also accept a wide range of qualifications besides A-levels for entry to our courses.
- For some of our courses in the School of Health Sciences we have selection days which also form an important part of the application process.
- You must be accepted by the course admissions tutor. The actual offer you receive may differ from the listed requirements as many of our courses are competitive so the minimum requirements do not guarantee admission.
